DeuroChem AM is an antibacterial additive designed to meet the requirements of ISO 22196 (Plastics – measurement of antibacterial activity on plastic surfaces). Therefore it is especially effective against multiresistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and Escherichia coli.
Usage
For paper impregnation DeuroChem AM is added to melamine resins either in the vat or at the coating station. To meet the criteria of ISO 22196, a dosage of 0,1 – 0,3% is added to the uppermost resin layer.
