Deurowood® AM is an antibacterial additive designed to meet the requirements of ISO 22196 (Plastics – measurement of antibacterial activity on plastic surfaces). Therefore it is especially effective against multiresistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and Escherichia coli.
Usage
For paper impregnation Deurowood® AM is added to melamine resins either in the vat or at the coating station. To meet the criteria of ISO 22196, a dosage of 0,1 – 0,3% is added to the uppermost resin layer.
